TIPS CARA MENGISI BENSIN/BAHAN BAKAR
KENDARAAN ANDA
Seorang teman mengirimkan catatan seperti tertulis di bawah ini:
Saya tidak tahu berapa sebenarnya anda membayar saat mengisi bensin………tetapi di sini, di
Durban, harga bahan bakar juga mahal. Saya telah bekerja di bidang bahan bakar/bensin
selama 31 tahun, sehingga saya bisa memberikan beberapa cara agar uang anda menjadi lebih
berharga untuk setiap liter bahan bakar yang anda beli.
Di Marian Hill Pipeline tempat saya bekerja di Durban, dalam waktu 24 jam kami
memompakan/menyalurkan kurang lebih 4 juta liter.
Satu hari solar, hari berikutnya bahan bakar pesawat jet dan bensin, LRP dan Unleaded.
Kami di sini mempunyai tanki penyimpanan sebanyak 34 dengan kapasitas seluruhnya
16.800.000 liter.
BELILAH BAHAN BAKAR ATAU ISILAH MOBIL ATAU MOTOR ANDA DENGAN
BAHAN BAKAR PADA WAKTU HARI MASIH PAGI KETIKA TEMPERATUR TANAH
MASIH DINGIN. Ingat bahwa semua SPBU mempunyai tanki penyimpanan di bawah tanah.
Semakin dingin tanahnya maka semakin padat/kental bahan bakarnya. Jika temperatur mulai
panas/hangat, maka bahan bakarnya akan mengembang. Jadi jika membeli bahan bakar pada
siang hari atau petang hari……..sebenarnya bahan bakar yang diisikan ke dalam tanki
kendaraan anda jelas lebih sedikit dibanding jumlah liter yang anda beli.
Dalam business perminyakan, gravity yang spesifik dan temperatur bensin, diesel dan bahan
bakar pesawat jet, ethanol dan produk minyak lainnya punya peranan penting. Kenaikan 1
derajat merupakan hal yang sangat berpengaruh dalam business ini. Tetapi SPBU tidak
memberikan ganti rugi/kompensasi karena temperatur.

Mengenali Gejala Stroke Supaya Kita Waspada

Kisah sewaktu pesta barbeque, ada seorang wanita terjatuh & dia meyakinkan semua orang yang datang kalau dia tidak apa-apa katanya ia hanya tersandung batu bata karena sepatu barunya (padahal teman-temannya menawarkan memanggil paramedik).

Mereka membantunya membersihkan diri dan mengambilkan wanita itu piring makanan baru. Meskipun terlihat sedikit terguncang, wanita itu meneruskan menikmati pesta sore itu.

Malamnya, suami anita tersebut menelpon memberitahukan semua orang bahwa istrinya telah dibawa ke rumah sakit (pukul 6 sore besoknya, wanita tersebut meninggal).

Ternyata ia mendapat serangan stroke pada pesta barbeque itu.Kalau saja teman-temannya tahu bagaimana mengenali tanda-tanda stroke mungkin hari ini wanita tersebut masih bersama mereka.

Hanya membutuhkan satu menit untuk membaca ini.

Seorang ahli syaraf mengatakan bahwa kalau dia bisa menolong seorang korban stroke dalam waktu 3 jam sejak serangan tersebut, dia bisa membalikkan pengaruh stroke.... secara total!

Dia mengatakan bahwa triknya adalah mengenali dan mendiagnosa stroke dalam waktu 3 jam sejak serangan, yang sebenarnya merupakan hal yang sulit.

Terrarium atau tanaman mini dalam bejana kaca bening diruang tamu bisa menjadi aksen menarik karena mampu memikat perhatian siapa pun yang ada disana. Sekelompoik tanaman hias eksotik yang ditata dengan prinsip lanskap didalam sebuah bejana kaca bening kelihatan begitu unik.

Terrarium merupakan salah satu alternatif dekorasi dalam ruang selain tanaman pot dan rangkaian tanaman/ bunga potong. Terrarium sangat cocok bagi hobiis yang tidak memiliki lahan atau halaman rumah yang cukup untuk menanam berbagai jenis tanaman hias.
Bahan yang perlu dipersiapkan dalam pembuatan terrarium adalah: wadah berupa gelas atau akuarium, berbagai jenis tanaman, dan media tanam.
Tanaman yang bisa digunakan dalam terrarium yaitu, fitonia merah, zebrina pendula,fittonia, dracaena,sanseviera,begonia,paku-pakuan, suplir,anthurium, dan lainya.
Media tanam yang digunakan adalah kerikil kecil atau pecahan keramik,pasir halis, zeolit,spagnum moss,arang, dan kompos.
Merawat terrarium adalah dengan menyiram,mengatur cahaya,memangkas, membersihkan wadah, mengatur suhu, memupuk, dan mengendalikan hama dan penyakit.

Pelatihan Terrarium

Terrarium dapat diartikan sebagai suatu bejana atau wadah dari kaca bening yang didalamnya ditanami tanaman hias berukuran kecil atau mini. Dengan demikian, terrarium dapat disebut taman mini dalam kaca.Manfaat utama terrarium adalah sebagai penghias ruangan, sebagai hobi, sarana memahami alam, dan sebagai kegiatan kreatif yang menantang.WADAH TERARIUM Ada dua syarat utama dalam pemilihan wadah terrarium, yaitu kuat dan tembus pandang. Kuat diartikan bahwa wadah terrarium harus manpu menahan beban isi yang terdiri dari tanaman dan aksesoris. Sementara syarat tembus pandang berarti wadah harus bening atau transparan agar cahaya mudah tembus dan tanaman mudah dilihat dari luar.MEDIA TANAM Media tanam yang digunakan dalam pembuatan terrarium sangat beragam, media yang dipilih sebaiknya bersifat porous dan cukup subur. Beberapa media yang digunakan antara lain arang sekam, sphagnum moss, kompos dan zeolit.Pada dasarnya susunan setiap media tanam didalam wadah terrarium tidak ada aturan bakunya. Namun berdasarkan fungsi masing-masing media dapat diperoleh susunan sebagai berikut ( dari bawah ke atas)Zeolit kasar Sphagnum moss Arang sekam Kompos Zeolit halus Sebagai hiasannya dapat digunakan pasir bali, batu- batu berwarna dan kerikil.MEMBUAT TERARIUM Tahapan-tahapan pembuatan terrariumTentukan tema terrarium Siapkan semua alat, wadah, dan tanaman yang akan digunakan Sediakan semua media taman yang diperlukan dan aksesoris sebagai pelengkap hiasan terrarium Masukkan zeolit kasar kedalam wadah dengan ketebalan sekitar 1 cm Masukkan sphagnum moos tepat diatas zeolit kasar, usahakan agar seluruh permukaan tertutupi, selanjutnya masukan arang setebal 1 cm Masukkan media kompos dengan ketebalan 2 cm Tanam tanaman yang tersedia dan tutupi dengan kompos kembali setebal 3-4 cm atau sampai menutupi perakaran dan padatkan Masukkan zeolit halus secukupnya Ambil pasir atau kerikil adan tempatkan diatas media sebagai pelengkap atau hiasan Siram media dan tanaman. Pastikan jumlah air tidak terlalu banyak. MERAWAT TERARIUM Tanaman dalam terrarium membutuhkan perawatan agar terlihat menarik. Rangkaian perawatan tanaman di dalam terrarium meliputi penyiraman, pemenuhan kebutuhan cahaya dan suhu, pemupukan, pemangkasan, pembersihan serta pemberantasan hama dan penyakit.· PENYIRAMANSecara umum tanaman terrarium membutuhkan kondisi media taman yang lembab, tetapi tidak sampai tergenang air. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penyiraman secara periodik..Penyiraman dilakukan dengan cara menyemprotkan air pada dinding wadah menggunakan sprayer atau menggunakan selang kecil yang dihubungkan dengan botol berisi air.· MENGATUR CAHAYATerarium sebaiknya dilakukan di dalam ruangan yang cukup mendapat cahaya matahari, tetapi tidak langsung mengenai dinding wadah. Jika diletakkan di dekat jendela, terrarium perlu diputar secar perodik untuk mencegah efek phototropic (tanaman tumbuh ke arah cahaya). Jika ruangan terlalu gelap, dapat ditambah cahaya buatan dengan menggunakan lampu.· MEMANGKASPemangkasan daun dan ranting dilakukan jika tanaman tumbuh berlebihan sehingga memenuhi ruangan di dalam wadah atau penampilan pemandangan yang kurang indah. Pemangkasan dilakukan dengan menggunting dahan berukuran kecil atau ranting tanaman yang tidak dikehendaki atau ranting yang kering.· MEMBERSIHKAN WADAHDebu ataun kotoran sering menempel pada wadah terrarium bagian luar. Untuk itu, sebaiknya dilakukan pembersihan secara periodic. Pembersihan wadah sebaiknya dilakukan setelah penyiraman. Membersihkan wadah dapat menggunakan kuas, spon, atau tissue.· MEMUPUKPada umumnya pemupukan pada terrarium tidak perlu dilakukan. Ini dikarenakan kebutuhan unsur hara bagi tanaman sudah cukup terpenuhi. Pemupukan juga sebaiknya dihindari untuk mencegah pertumbuhan terlalu subur. Pemupukan hanya bisa dilakukan jika memang benar-benar pertumbuhan tanaman kurang baik atau menunjukan gejala kekurangan unsur hara. Pupuk yang disarankan adalah pupuk organic kompos daun atau anorganik cair atau padat.· MENGENDALIKAN HAMA DAN PENYAKITTanaman terrarium relative tidak mudah terserang hama dan penyakit dibandingkan dengan tanaman diruang terbuka. Hama yang mungkin menyerang tanaman hias di dalam terrarium adalah semut, kutu, dan kepik penghisap cairan tanaman. Pemberantasan hama cukup secara manual.SELAMAT MENCOBA

Dari segi bisnis, Eneng mengatakan, terarium mempunyai prospek sangat bagus karena belum banyak yang menekuni usaha ini sebagaimana budidaya tanaman hias dalam pot. Kalau kita cukup kreatif kita bisa membuat terarium dalam satu wadah terarium terdiri bermacam-macam jenis tanaman, hasilnya pasti sangat menarik. Sedangkan jenis tumbuhannya cukup mudah diperoleh di nursery.
“Rencananya saya akan mengadakan rental terarium dan refill. Banyak terarium lama yang mati, atau barangkali pemiliknya sudah bosan. Jadi istilahnya kita menerima isi ulang,” ujarnya. Sayang sampai saat ini yang dilakukan baru sebatas melayani pesanan, terutama karena faktor modal dan kesempatan. Maklum sementara waktu ia masih berkonsentrasi pada studi.
Modal investasi yang diperlukan sebenarnya tidak terlalu besar sebab tidak memakan lahan terlalu luas. Tergantung dari bahan-bahan, jenis wadah kaca maupunpun jenis tanaman yang disediakan, kapital awal sekitar Rp 1 juta hingga Rp 10 juta sudah bisa jalan. Berdasarkan pengalaman Eneng saat melayani pesanan, ia menjual produk berkisar Rp 100 ribu-Rp 250 ribu. Tetapi harga tersebut bisa lebih murah, atau bahkan lebih mahal hingga jutaan rupiah. Maka keuntungannya pun relatif, profit margin bisa berkisar 10% sampai lebih dari 110%. “Harga disesuaikan dengan pesanan, baik tempat kaca yang dikehendaki dan jenis tanamannya apa,” ungkapnya.
Analisa Bisnis:Analisa usaha terarium secara sederhana sebagai berikut:
I. Investasi Awal:- Pembelian bibit tanaman Rp. 200.000,00 - Pengadaan wadah kaca dan peralatannya Rp. 600.000,00- Pengadaan bahan-bahan media tanam Rp. 200.000,00 Jumlah investasi awal Rp 1.000.000,00
II. Pendapatan Usaha: Penjualan sekitar 20 buah terrarium @ 150.000,00 = Rp 3.000.000,00III. Keuntungan Usaha: Rp 3000.000,00-1000.000,00 = Rp 2.000.000,00
IV. Kesimpulan:
Profit margin mencapai 300%. Apabila dalam sebulan memiliki omset penjualan hingga 100 buah atau total penjualan Rp 15.000.000,00, maka keuntungan yang diperoleh bisa mencapai Rp 10.000.000,00.

Tak terlalu banyak yang mengetahui ihwal terarium. Justru inilah peluang untuk menggarapnya menjadi sebuah bisnis dengan profit 300 persen. Wiyono
Banyak hal dilakukan guna membuat sebuah ruangan tampil cantik, seperti pemilihan desain dan penataan interior, dekorasi, termasuk tanaman hias, lazim pula ikut dijadikan tambahan. Dan booming tanaman hias pada akhir-akhir ini telah memikat banyak orang mencicipi bisnis satu ini. Coba saja, para ibu rumah tangga, khususnya di perumahan-perumahan, getol tiap diajak berbincang soal jenis-jenis tanaman hias yang harganya tengah melangit. Bahkan mereka pun fasih menyebutkan nama-nama latin semacam anthurium, aglonema, adenium, dan sebangsanya? Di antara ibu-ibu itu juga kerap saling bertukar pengalaman dan sekaligus barter tanaman bunga milik masing-masing. Walau begitu, setiap nursery di sepanjang jalanan juga tetap ramai diserbu pembeli. Kesimpulannya, hingga bertahun-tahun ke depan sepertinya bisnis tanaman hias bakal tetap mekar.
Berbicara soal kembang atau tanaman hias, kebanyakan pemahaman kita adalah wujud tumbuhan yang ditanam dalam media pot, entah itu untuk ditaruh di tengah landscape sebuah taman, diletakkan di lantai ruangan atau digantung agar bisa menikmati keindahan bunga, daun, atau batangnya yang indah. Namun, di tengah masyarakat kita ternyata belum banyak tahu adanya metode tanam tumbuhan hias di dalam wadah kaca, atau kerap disebut terarium, sehingga alih-alih menjadikannya sebagai lahan bisnis. Dari sepuluh tempat berjualan kembang belum tentu dijumpai satu penjual yang menyediakan terarium. Padahal di luar negeri, khususnya kalangan pecinta tanaman hias, terarium sangatlah populer dan malahan merupakan salah satu hobi yang digemari. Lebih dari itu, harga jualnya pun lumayan tinggi.
Tidak dipungkiri, menurut Eneng Susilawati, penyedia jasa pelatihan pembuatan terarium di daerah Bogor, penyebabnya barangkali karena aslinya seni tanaman hias tersebut berasal dari benua Eropa yang mengalami empat kali perubahan musim. “Agar tetap dapat menikmati hijaunya tanaman hias sepanjang tahun, maka berkembanglah seni miniatur taman memakai wadah semacam botol, gelas, akuarium, toples atau bahan yang terbuat dari kaca transparan,” jelasnya. “Dengan demikian, terrarium dapat disebut taman mini dalam kaca,” lanjut mahasiswi tingkat akhir IPB di Departemen Agronomi dan Hortikultura itu.
Sebenarnya miniatur taman ini sudah ada sejak 500 tahun sebelum masehi. Namun secara ilmiah, terarium dalam bentuk modern pertama kali baru diperkenalkan pada tahun 1827 oleh Nathaniel Ward, doktor ilmu fisika asal Inggris. “Di Indonesia dibawa oleh orang-orang Belanda,” imbuhnya.
Dikatakan, meskipun terbatas, di Indonesia hobi terarium mulai berkembang pada tahun 90-an. Awal ketertarikan Eneng juga bermula dari salah satu mata kuliah yang pernah diikuti, yakni satu bab yang membahas holticultura landscape. Seterusnya ia masuk ke dalam himpunan profesi agronomi di bidang kewirausahaan, salah satu kegiatannya menjadi panitia pelatihan di beberapa sekolahan, di antaranya pembuatan terarium.
Respon positif ternyata bukan hanya datang dari para murid sekolah, wali murid, khususnya para ibu, banyak yang tertarik mendapatkan pelatihan privat. Akhirnya, bersama beberapa rekan kuliahnya, Eneng membuka jasa pelatihan sekaligus melayani pesanan pembuatan terarium.
Membuat terarium sejatinya tidak terlalu sulit, baik itu sekadar untuk hobi atau bila hendak dijadikan bisnis. Dikarenakan bentuknya mini, dalam jumlah banyak sekalipun, kita tidak perlu ribet menyediakan lahan secara khusus. Keuntungannya kita cukup hanya memanfaatkan ruangan yang telah ada di rumah kita.
Tanaman yang bisa digunakan juga gampang diperoleh dan beragam, tinggal disesuaikan menurut tema dan keinginan masing-masing. Misalnya, terdapat jenis terarium dengan botol/ wadah tertutup atau terbuka. Jenis tertutup biasanya dipilihkan tumbuhan yang tahan kelembaban. Selain itu, pada prinsipnya semua jenis tumbuhan bisa dipakai, tetapi biasanya sengaja dipilih jenis tanaman yang bandel, mudah tumbuh dan mampu bertahan hidup, dan paling penting dipilih tanaman yang masih kecil.
